In 1985, Thief River Falls created a "plan" for the city. 25 years later, it is our mission to pick up where this was left off and move Thief River Falls into the future as a successful, flourishing community.

The Structure of TRForward

National Historic site in Thief River Falls, MN TRForword is an ad-hoc group of citizen volunteers who are working together to find out what people in our community care about or are passionate about. Although we are strongest as one, our group is broken into three core groups each charged with completing specific objectives.

Our Committees

TRForward is a group of stewards that have come from all walks of life to help promote and improve the Thief River Falls area. The group is broken into three committees for purposes of specialization - Buzz, Assets, and Values. A full list of the current members of each committe is listed on their respective pages. Anyone is welcome to join any of these groups.

The Buzz committee works to create press releases, market TRForward, and setup opportunities to speak with local groups and organizations about our mission.

The Assets committee works to figure out what types of things - both tangible and intangible - make our community a better place to live.

The Values committee collects information from the community on a variety of topics. From creating and collecting surveys to holding town-hall meetings, this group wants to make sure everyone's voice is heard.

If none of these committees suit you, there are also plenty of opportunities to get involved by sharing your skills and abilities on a variety of upcomming projects. These projects give you the opportunity to offer as little or as much of your time and talents as you feel comfortable sharing. There is always room for more people to get involved!
